Powerful, fast and exceptionally modest when it comes to consumption and emissions - a good summing-up of the most important characteristics of this state-of-the-art 2.1-litre diesel engine with two-step turbocharging. 5.0 to 4.8 litres per 100 km fuel consumption with CO2 emissions of 132 to 124 g/km make it the most thrifty roadster in its segment.

The fourth-generation common-rail diesel technology features an increased injection pressure (up to 2000 bar), optimised combustion chambers and high-precision injectors improved ignition pressure and charging ensure powerful torque across the whole of the engine speed range

The ECO start/stop function saves diesel fuel, thus reducing environmental impact, and with its ECO display in the instrument cluster speedometer field, helps the driver to monitor his driving style in terms of efficiency.
